What is IRC?

Why should you join us on IRC?

Our IRC Channel is a great way to get to know other members form the forums, without having to send awkward PM's or spamming threads with conversation. Another benefit of IRC is that it allows for quick communication (especially with the Anime Void staff members), and is a fun alternative to staring at your screen and waiting for someone to reply to your posts.

What is like in your channel?

We are really carefree with regards to language and conversation topics on IRC, anything goes as long as there aren't any "younger" kids in the channel (We do NOT approve of corrupting the youth of the world).

How do I get on IRC?

Feel like joining us, or just checking out what exactly IRC is? Well, we have some good news for you. First off, access to IRC is 100% free. Secondly, it's really not that hard to get set up. The first thing you need to do is download an IRC client. There are many different clients that people use, but the majority of casual users tend to use mIRC (You can download mIRC for free at www.mirc.com (Just click the download page from the left side of the screen, and install.)

I have an IRC client, now what?

The next thing you need to do is connect to our server, currently we are located on the Rizon network. To connect to Rizon and automatically enter our channel, simply type in "/server -m irc.rizon.net -j #animevoid".
